Dealer of the Month: Tyremen Hull

A one-stop shop for vehicle maintenance, Tyremen has been offering expert advice and services to the people of Hull for over 55 years.
With decades of industry experience, Tyremen has a trusted reputation within the Hull community and beyond, which has led to expansion of their services – covering tyres, MOTs, servicing, brakes and wheels – and the opening of a second depot on Great Union Street last summer to meet the demand for business.
After coming on board as a Davanti dealer, we worked with Director Chris Sanders to upgrade their exterior signage at Great Union Street, showcasing the various services and Davanti products available – including Protoura Sport, Terratoura A/T and Vantoura 4-Seasons.
Following a positive response from Chris and Tyremen customers towards the Davanti brand, we were invited to return to Tyremen’s original site on Witty Street in Hull to revamp the reception design with dual-branded, eye-catching and engaging features to reflect the positive customer experience Chris and the team provide.
The three-day project consisted of physical signage installation throughout the various reception rooms and the workshop, as well as digital promotional materials on screen, a digital totem, tread detailing on the reception desk, acrylic signage on the coffee tables and an impressive illuminated Protoura Sport tread pattern mounted onto the wall.
Visitors to Tyremen are now greeted with illuminated welcome signage as they enter, and throughout the vast reception space, making it easy to navigate to the different amenities available on site.
Chris Sanders, Director of Tyremen, commented on the new look and feel:
“It’s nice, clean and modern. We’ve had lots of immediate responses on how nice it looks. We are known for having a decent looking depot, and this has improved on what we already had, we’re really happy with it.”
The dual-branded design has also provided a talking point for visitors. “It’s easy to sell Davanti because it’s all over the walls and it’s something to refer to instead of trying to look around for points of sale.”
To add a personal touch to the design, we made Chris’ BMW M4 Competition with private Tyremen reg a focal point in the waiting area. Chris said: “I instantly thought it was going to be a bit cheesy, but it turns out I like it.”
