Davanti Tyres named as technical partner & commercial sponsor for mini challenge clubsport

Davanti is proud to announce our new partnership with the Mini Challenge Clubsport as part of a three-year contract commencing in January 2025, the Protoura Race tyre will be the new control tyre of the championship, supplied and fitted by BMTR Motorsport. Created specifically for unbeatable proficiency on the track with a semi-slick design, all competitors will race on Davanti’s first-ever track tyre.
Key features of the Protoura Race which will provide MINI CHALLENGE CLUBSPORT racers with the power and handling to achieve podium results, include:
- Directional tread pattern to provide superior control in wet weather conditions.
- Enhanced carcass strength to provide direct feedback to the driver and control under high cornering forces experienced on race tracks.
- New compound with added grip for greater braking and acceleration power.
As well as utilising the Protoura Race tyre, Davanti Tyres decals will feature on all race cars, strengthening brand visibility at race weekends with the iconic Davanti orange.
The first round of the championship – renowned for producing competitive on-track action – takes place at Silverstone, the legendary home of the British Grand Prix, on 17th and 18th May 2025. Each race weekend consists of a free practice session, a qualifying session and three races, giving plenty of time for the drivers to push the Protoura Race tyre and their cars to the limits.
