Dan Zelos crowned 2024 MINI Challenge JCW champion

Congratulations are in order once again for one of Davanti’s long-standing partners, Dan Zelos, who has been officially crowned 2024 MINI Challenge JCW champion.
At the final race weekend of the season at Brands Hatch on 5th October, Dan finally lifted the trophy, putting the rubber stamp on his third title.
Dan provisionally secured the title a few months earlier at Knockhill, following a podium finish that left an unassailable lead in the standings. Out of the 13 races in the 2024 season, Dan scored a total of 5 wins, 10 podiums and 537 points, which is a standout achievement.
Winning the championship with a race to spare, also opened up the opportunity to make the step-up to the British Touring Cars (BTCC) – another personal achievement for the 2024 MINI Challenge JCW champion.
Dan Zelos comments: “If you told me at the start of 2024 that we would win the MINI Challenge in my Davanti car with 3 races to spare, I’d think you were joking. If you then said we’d compete in 9 British Touring Car races and score points in every race, I’d think you were crazy! This year has been my most successful and memorable yet, Davanti Tyres have been a part of my journey for 5 long years and we’ve had so many highs to date, this season has got to be the highlight. None of this would have been possible without their support and I feel so blessed. If 2024 was this good, I can’t wait to see what 2025 might bring!”
It is clear to see, 2024 has been hugely successful for Dan and we’re excited to see what the rest of 2024 (and beyond) brings!
