Child Safety Week 2026: Why Davanti is the trusted tyre choice for families

4th June 2026

Safety is a critical aspect of tyre development, and something Davanti takes very seriously when developing new products. For families in particular, we understand that choosing the right tyre for your vehicle doesn’t just depend on value for money and performance, but also reliability and durability.

This Child Safety Week, we’re shining a spotlight on the rigorous testing process that all Davanti tyres undergo before entering the market to help give peace of mind to safety conscious drivers.

From concept to customer

When a new Davanti tyre is developed, it can take several years before it actually lands on garage shelves. This is due to the stringent research and testing process, where every tyre is scrutinised and perfected to ensure resilience and the highest possible standard of performance.

Each tread design is created at our UK headquarters before it takes to the track to be analysed by independent British automotive testing organisation, TREAD.

There are over 40 testing disciplines carried out across some of the toughest proving grounds in Europe, covering; ice steering and braking, wet and dry handling, longitudinal aquaplaning, off-road stability and mileage. Each test is carried out under controlled track conditions by our professional team of engineers and driving experts. You can check out more information about Davanti’s rigorous testing and development process here

The data gained from testing, combined with subjective driver assessment, is then used in the development phase to refine and modify tyre designs.

Pushing our tyres to their limits under extreme hot and cold conditions reassures drivers that whatever the weather or driving environment, you can feel confident getting to your destination with Davanti leading the way.

What happens once a tyre has entered the mass market?

Davanti’s development process often extends beyond the launch of a product. We always strive to ensure our tyres adhere to changing EU regulations and that they continue to deliver quality, reliable performance

For instance, our partnership with the AIA Racing School in Portugal allows our Protoura Sport tyre to be driven on the school’s fleet of vehicles, meaning it is continually analysed while being pushed to its limit.

How do I find the best Davanti tyre for my driving needs?

You can find our full range of passenger car and commercial vehicle tyres here. If you’d like more information about any of our products, contact your local Davanti dealer – we have hundreds of knowledgeable customers across the country ready to help.
