Protoura Race impresses at Demon Tweeks Supercharged

We attended Demon Tweeks’ packed out Supercharged car meet in Wrexham to showcase Davanti and our brand-new Protoura Race tyre to automotive enthusiasts. 

More than 250 cars were in attendance – from modified and classics to supercars and show cars – including our Terratoura-branded Ford Ranger and Davanti-branded Volkswagen Golf race car, sporting Protoura Race tyres.

We presented three Protoura Race sizes on display stands alongside Protoura Sport, Terratoura A/T and Ecoura which all caught the attention of the crowds. Our development director, Gary Cross and chief engineer at TREAD Ltd, Ray Collier, were both on hand to speak to attendees and talk through the product range.

Also turning heads were a number of special vehicles on display from Demon Tweeks, including the iconic, fan favourite BMW E30 M3 touring car from the 1980s, and their Fun Cup car. This single-seater racing car was kept under cover for half of the event, eventually unveiled to showcase VW Beetle-inspired bodywork.

After receiving a great response to the Davanti stand on the day, we look forward to future events with Demon Tweeks and their community of fans.
