Oak Tyres Celebrates 45 years of trading

On 1st August 2025, We are is celebrating its 45th birthday as the brand continues to go from strength to strength.

Oak Tyres was started in 1980 as a family-run tyre retail business. It has grown over the last 45 years to become a global distributor with seven warehouses, the latest having opened in the last few months in Warrington.

Now exclusively home to the Landsail, Delinte, Aptany, Evergreen, and Linglong brands in the UK, we have also created and launched our own tyre brands; Davanti, the leading mid-range tyre brand, and this year, Envoy, the value tyre brand with a mission to deliver exceptional quality at a great price point.

With decades of experience in the tyre sector and an intricate understanding of what is critical to create a reliable and trustworthy tyre brands, Davanti and Envoy, are rigorously tested through a leading research and development process by experienced industry experts at state-of-the-art production facilities.

We have also recently added speciality tyres our portfolio, and supply tyre fitting consumables, such as tyre valves, wheel weights and tyre mounting paste to our network of trusted independent garage owners across the UK and worldwide, making for the most comprehensive offerings in the tyre market.

In its 45 years of business, we continue to pride ourselves on delivering a high standard of customer service to the fast-fit industry. Evolving consumer preferences, technological advancements, and economic factors have shaped the tyre wholesale market, and our brand has maintained pace with changing customer needs.

Across 2024, we’ve refined the Oak8 system to integrate more functionality with the new, enhanced B2B platform, Oak Portal. Oak Portal integrates with the current Oak Partnership platform, which allows stockists of our exclusive brands to order the point of sale and dealer support items they need, and gain access to rewards. This presents a more user-friendly, efficient system for accessing tyres and non-tyre products. Key features include:

• Significantly faster search result loading times with an all-new intuitive ‘SmartSearch’ function for quick and accurate filtering
• A responsive user interface with markedly improved and expanded product catalogue information
• A new suite of account management, order history & financial tool updates, offering customers more insight to view at the touch of a button.
