Linglong Tire is a finalist in the WhatTyre Awards 2025

18th August 2025

Congratulations to Linglong Tire, which has been named a finalist in the prestigious WhatTyre Eco Tyre of the Year 2025 Award for the Linglong Sport Master E tyre. The brand sits alongside a collection of prestigious brands including Continental, Michelin, Firestone and Maxxis.

Each year, the best tyres are chosen, and with the help of the WhatTyre jury, they are then awarded prizes. Performance data, independent tests, and tyre labelling are among the criteria assessed by the Tyres & Accessories editorial team.

The WhatTyre Eco Tyre of the Year award recognises tyres that excel in sustainable manufacturing and includes those products that are considered to be ‘EV ready’. Linglong’s inclusion in the shortlist is a significant achievement and recognises the brand’s commitment to green technologies since its emergence in the European market.

Linglong is a new feature in the list, with WhatTyre considering the advanced factory built in Serbia that facilitates new levels of production quality and sustainability. WhatTyre states that the SportMaster is “ A big leap forward for the manufacturer in terms of wet grip, with a 17% improvement over its previous ultra-high performance products.”

As drivers become increasingly aware of their environmental impact, the demand for sustainable and fuel-efficient tyres is on the rise. Linglong’s finalist position in the WhatTyre awards solidifies its place as a key player in this important and evolving segment of the automotive industry.
