What services does your garage provide?
We provide and specialise in new tyres and puncture repairs, as well as providing mobile fitting in our fully kitted out Mercedes Sprinter Van, so we can supply our customers’ tyres at their home or workplace if they are unable to make it to our garage.
How would you describe your business in 3 words?
Reliable – Convenient – Local.
Tell us one interesting fact people may not know about you?
As well as tyres me and my partner also run a mobile bar business providing alcohol for weddings, private events and festivals with our horse box conversion. The amount of contacts we have built with Ramsbottom Tyres over the years has also made this a very successful business!
What does your customer base typically value the most from your business?
Our customers value our customer service and convenience the most, as well as our competitive prices. We want our customers’ cars back on the road as soon as possible and Davanti has made this possible with the high amount of stock they hold, which is ready to go with the click of a button.
What encouraged you to become a customer of Davanti?
After being invited to a Davanti event through Oak Tyres I was able to get more of an insight into the quality of this mid range brand as well as being able to keep costs down for my customers which is very important during these financially difficult times! After testing Davanti tyres out myself, it was an easy decision to stock this brand at Ramsbottom Tyres!
What impact has being a Davanti dealer had on your business?
The impact Davanti has had on Ramsbottom Tyres is massive. The quality of the tyres and low cost makes for an easy decision for our customers. The new signage for our garage was provided by Davanti which is eye-catching and looks very professional! We have at least doubled our monthly tyre sales thanks to this brand!
Which Davanti products are most popular with your customers?
It has to be the Protoura Sport and Alltoura 4-Seasons which are the most popular. The Alltoura especially as this tyre gives our customers the option to have tyres on all year round which perform fantastic in summer and winter without the inconvenience of switching your tyres twice a year.
If you could offer one piece of advice to a fellow garage owner just starting out in the industry, what would it be?
The best piece of advice we could offer is always understand that your customers are the most important part of your business. Without them you don’t have a business, so it is very important to build that trust and relationship for many years to create repeat business and if you’re just starting, it would be a smart choice to take advantage of all the extras and benefits Davanti have to offer to help grow your business to the next level. From the start, our journey with Davanti Tyres has made Ramsbottom Tyres one of the most successful garages in the area and without a doubt we will continue to grow our small business as a Davanti dealer!
