Edd Cobley tests Terratoura M/T

Off-road rally legend and all-terrain expert Edd Cobley has championed Terratoura A/T tyres since the launch in 2019, having competed on them in the British Cross Country Championship on his own custom-built racing Land Rover Defender 110 doublecab – Skippy. He has also entrusted the tyres in a professional training capacity, when guiding emergency keyworkers in off-road conditions. So when he learned of the arrival of the Terratoura M/T tyre, he couldn’t wait to test them out.
He put the Terratoura M/T tyres through their paces at Tixover Quarry, navigating steep rocky and sandy slopes and deep muddy ruts.
He was impressed with the positive feedback received from them, as they handled the toughest surfaces with ease. No tugging or negative feedback was felt through the steering, and the tyre’s exceptional grip was prominent throughout.
Commenting on Terratoura M/T’s performance, he said:
“I can feel the grip through the tread pattern… The tyre is constantly working, constantly clearing, maintaining the grip. The tyres are articulating over the rocks, and it really is giving me the traction.”
M/T maintained traction in compact mud, showing no signs of slippage. The tyre also left a constant tread pattern on the ground as it travelled through the mud, visibly demonstrating that the tyre was working as it should to dispel mud and maintain a maximum contact patch.
The tyre not only showcased its abilities to cope with mud and sand, but it also performed well on harder ground, making it an ideal choice for off-road adventurers.
