Edd Cobley and Davanti Tyres star at Billing Off Road Show

Glorious weather and more than 8,000 visitors across two days welcomed Davanti Tyres to the Billing Off Road Show – their first event since before the pandemic.
For the first time the brand was able to present its expanded range of Terratoura A/T sizes to the public, with fitments now ranging from 15” to 21”.
Davanti also brought along Terratoura A/T ambassador Edd Cobley and his off-road rally vehicle, a custom-built Land Rover 110 double cab named Skippy 2.0, to wow the crowds.
“It was just great to be back,” said Edd. “I’ve been going to Billing for years and it’s a great show. It was great to see so many familiar faces and show them what I’ve been working on with Davanti Tyres and Terratoura A/T.
“Terratoura is a quality British option for anyone looking for all-terrain tyres and everyone I spoke to was really interested to learn more about it.”
For any sceptics who still wanted to see Terratoura A/T in action, Edd happily obliged with a series of hot-laps, taking Skippy over jumps in Challenge South West’s Demonstration Arena to showcase the versatility of Davanti’s flagship all-terrain tyre.
“It was a lot of fun to put on demonstrations for everyone,” he said. “Being on the Land Rover Monthly stage talking about my return to racing with Davanti and then tearing round the demo arena over jumps and dips at speed, especially after so long away from events, was just amazing.”
The Billing Off Road Show was the first time since Davanti launched its expansion of the Terratoura A/T range that the brand could engage with customers. Among the more interesting items on display to tempt visitors in were two mounted custom wheels from brand partners Sterling Automotive.
Davanti also sponsored Billing’s popular off-road course, featuring wading sections and the challenging mud run, where visitors could test their vehicle’s off-road capabilities.
“Billing Off Road Show was fantastic,” said Sean Maddocks, Davanti Tyres’ Sales Director for the UK and Ireland. “Everyone we met was keen to find out how Terratoura A/T works, how we designed it, how it performs. They were really positive about discovering a true rival to the established names in all-terrain tyres.
“With our new range of sizes, more show visitors than ever were able to find their size and we could help them locate their local Davanti dealer to get them fitted.
“It was also fantastic to be able to introduce them to Sterling Automotive and the exciting projects they are working on around bespoke 4×4 and pickup design – particularly around the new Land Rover Defender – and to help them find their local Davanti dealers, wherever they were from.”
