Double Zelos podium in Touring Car eSeries eases pain of missing Mini top three

Davanti Tyres eSports driver Dan Zelos came back with a vengeance to finish second and third in his Touring Car races after ending the Mini Challenge eSeries 4th.
The Dereham ace just missed out on the top three overall in the Mini Challenge Championship after two tough races at Brands Hatch.
But that disappointment fuelled him to two fantastic drives in the MSL Fastr Touring Car eSeries with VRRC, where at Silverstone he put in his virtual drive of the season to finish second then third.
“I’m a fierce competitor,” said Zelos. “When I missed out on the top three in the Minis I was fired up. I went into the touring cars a couple of hours later totally focused on driving aggressively and securing a strong result and I came away with two!
“I’ve really found simracing useful in preparing for the proper season and I’m thankful to Davanti Tyres for supporting me in this. The goal is that this pays off when we get back on the circuit and I can make a real challenge for the Mini Challenge title this season.”
