Davanti Hosts Wigan Warriors Game Day Takeover

With Wigan Warriors being one of Davanti’s long-standing partners, it was great to show our support, hosting a Davanti Takeover on the same day as the game against local rivals, Leigh Leopards. Located in the Fan Village at Robin Park, the huge takeover saw several fun and engaging activities take place, including player visits and bespoke coaching sessions.
This year’s event – hosted on Friday 5th July – featured a strong brand presence, and we also partnered with local Davanti dealer, Pemberton Tyres, who supplied their own Davanti branded truck. This created a unique and dedicated area for player appearances.
The exclusive player appearances featured Jai Field, Kruise Leeming, and Tom Forber from the men’s first team, alongside Rachel Thompson, Isabel Rowe and Georgia Wilson, all players from the women’s team.
Fans who attended the player appearances were gifted miniature rugby balls dual-branded with Davanti and Wigan Warriors logos, many of which were signed by the players.
Davanti’s sponsorship also extends to the local youth rugby club, Hindley ARLFC, which was in attendance on the day. The youth team was a key part of the event, with over 150 children showing up to support.
Complete in their Davanti-branded shirts, the children from Hindley had the opportunity to partake in some coaching sessions conducted by Wigan Warriors at Robin Park. Some were even selected to take part in the flag and mascot ceremony as the players entered the pitch before the game.
With a final score of 24-6 to Wigan Warriors, they’ve comfortably extended their position at the top of the league table, so it’s fair to say it was a hugely successful day all around!
