Davanti Dealer of the Month – Rikfit Autocentre

23rd July 2021

Since 1968 RikFit Autocentre has been putting its customers first with high quality service at a fair price.

Originally trading as Rikki’s Autos, current owner Rikki Cooper was born the year his father started the business in the Birmingham suburb of Stirchley.

Today, the business he inherited is now known as Rikfit Autocentre and has grown to include mobile tyre fitting, vehicle recovery, MOTs, servicing and the full range of car maintenance and repair services. It remains as fiercely independent as it was in the 60s, able to plot its own course to success and stay true to the values it was built on.

Rikfit Autocentre’s commitment to a customer-centric approach was part of what influenced Rikki’s decision to become an authorised Davanti Tyres dealer.

“When we get behind something we get behind it 100%,” he said. “When I was first introduced to Davanti Tyres I knew it would be the right brand for our customers.

“Our aim is always to offer the best service possible at a fair price and Davanti Tyres fits that perfectly. Their tyres have good, robust testing and development behind them and offer great quality and labelling all at a reasonable price.

“Using label scores and other data we can not only recommend Davanti tyres to our customer but we can show how it compares favourably against premium brands.

“Not to mention the fact we’ve experienced first-hand how Davanti tyres perform. We love them!”

In addition to Rikki himself, who has been involved all his life, most of his workforce have at least 10 years service. They are part of the fabric of the community.

As a result, they are trusted to offer expert advice on all aspects of vehicle repair and maintenance.

“We don’t overcomplicate what we do,” he said. “We welcome customers in, we offer free coffee and we are straight and clear about everything.

“We are not the cheapest, nor are we expensive. We believe in charging a fair price for an expert service that everyone needs. But every customer knows that if we carry out any work on their vehicle, from brake replacement to wheel balancing, exhausts to tyre fitting, it will be completed to the highest standard using proven quality parts.

“If our work wasn’t up to scratch or the parts we use were poor we would hear about it very quickly!”
