Third in class finish for Chris Hoy at Silverstone

A challenging weekend at Silverstone saw Sir Chris Hoy finish third in class in the second round of the Sports Prototype Cup.

He battled Richard Morris for second place in the early stages of the first 20 minute sprint in his Revolution A-One 500sc, but an unscheduled fuel stop on the final lap hindered his chances.

They both found themselves in another fight for second place in the following race. Hoy overtook Morris on the opening lap of race two, but couldn’t hold onto it past lap five when Morris took the lead.
