Raring to race: Dan Zelos’ on track action

The sun has been shining and it feels like summer is well and truly here! But the summertime doesn’t mean rest and relaxation for our ambassador and MINI CHALLENGE racer, Dan Zelos, who has been busy on track.
In his orange and black MINI JCW with striking Davanti branding on the livery, defending MINI CHALLENGE champion Dan Zelos produced a superb display at Brands Hatch, in the second round of the MINI CHALLENGE season.
With three races over the weekend, Dan managed to capture a trio of podium finishes including his second victory of the season. In the first race, Davanti sponsored Zelos was challenged hard for the lead by EXCELR8 Motorsport team-mate Maximus Hall. This led to Dan having to settle for second position at the checkered flag.
For the partially-reversed grid of race two, Dan Zelos started in fifth and managed to work his way up the order to take first place, a whole second ahead of the competition. The third and final race of the weekend saw Dan once again take the podium, with a second-place finish.
After an incredibly strong weekend, and following two rounds of the MINI CHALLENGE season, Zelos currently sits top of the standing and 26 points clear of his nearest rival.
