Pneushow proves valuable for Latin America expansion

Having penetrated the tyre market in South America just this year, we were eager to have a brand presence at Brazil’s largest tyre exhibition, Pneushow, to further establish the Davanti name and gain a better understanding of this notoriously difficult market.
With a strong focus on the local market, Brazil houses many of the big names – all of which have factories in the country. Despite the challenges this has brought us when establishing our brand there, it was clear from interactions with visitors to the stand that there is certainly an appetite for Davanti in the area.
Pneushow gave us the opportunity to build great connections – we started conversations with some big importers and for visitors that had little knowledge of the brand, they were intrigued by how fast our expansion has gone in the territory.
Peter Cross, general manager of Davanti, said:
“Pneushow 2022 was a very successful event for Davanti. The stands that were at the show were predominantly local distributors as opposed to wholesalers, therefore it was a good opportunity to gain contacts in the territory and establish relationships with dealers.
“With a steady flow of customers to the stand, the show achieved our objectives of gaining contacts and making brand introductions.
“Anyone who didn’t know Davanti left with a good impression. This was due to the impressive collateral, eye-catching stand presence, and overall professional presentation of the brand.”
