Get to Know…Tyre Hub.

23rd October 2023

This month, Get to Know Ian from Tyre Hub…

What services does your garage provide?

Our St Helens and Southport sites offer new tyres, computerised wheel alignment
and TPMS diagnostics and replacements as well as wheel balancing. At our Widnes centre in addition to these services, we carry out MOTs, vehicle servicing and repairs.

How would you describe your business in 3 words?

Service, trust and reliability.

What does your customer base typically value the most from your business?

Over the years, we have built a very strong reputation for consistently delivering high levels of customer service based around the ethos of “treat others as you want to be treated”. In short, good old-fashioned reliable service and a job well done.

What encouraged you to become a customer of Landsail?

We have been involved with the Landsail brand for over a decade now. We quickly identified it as a brand that’s able to offer our customers a very good tyre at very good value.

What impact has being a Landsail dealer had on your business?

Over the years, Landsail has become more and more popular and it continues to grow in popularity, which in turn has had a positive effect on us as a supplier of the brand. The quality of the product allows us to gain repeat custom from very satisfied customers, who not only come back to us but also recommend us to their friends and family.

Which Landsail products are most popular with your customers?

Across our centres, we fit the whole range of Landsail tyres, from the small and medium passenger cars range – the LS288 and LS388 – to the high-performance LS588 UHP. We also fit a good amount of Landsail commercial tyres every day with excellent customer feedback across the board.

If you could offer one piece of advice to a fellow garage owner just starting out in the industry, what would it be?

We can only speak from our perspective obviously, but finding and building a strong working relationship with a reliable tyre wholesaler who will support you from day one and as you continue to grow, has been fundamental to our growth. We found this in Oak Tyres and we genuinely would recommend them to any new business starting in the Industry.
