Get to know… Budget Exhaust and Tyre Centre

28th June 2023

This month, get to know Drew from Budget Exhaust and Tyre Centre…

What services does your garage provide?

Tyres, exhaust batteries and alignment.

How would you describe your business in 3 words?

Prompt, helpful and professional.

Tell us one interesting fact people may not know about you?

We are coming up to trading 40 years in the same location.

What does your customer base typically value the most from your business?

The fact we don’t just take bookings, we have always been a drop-in service and always fit them in if we can.

What encouraged you to become a customer of Davanti?

During lockdown, we struggled with certain other brands to maintain good stock levels, so we wanted to bring another mid-range brand in alongside what we had. Davanti makes such a wide range of choice from performance, off-road, all-season and commercial tyres, so for us it was an easy choice to make.

What impact has being a Davanti dealer had on your business?

Davanti has brought us more options to offer customers, which in itself widens our sales. More variety is always a winner.

Which Davanti products are most popular with your customers?

The all-season tyres are a very popular option when it comes to the autumn/winter months, but saying that the Davanti DX640 is probably our best seller.

If you could offer one piece of advice to a fellow garage owner just starting out in the industry, what would it be?

As a family-run business everything matters. How you look, how you perform and how you deliver your services. It’s your name on the door, so high standards are key and the products you sell have to match those standards. Dealing with Davanti Tyres is a pleasure and they share the same values, so it makes sense to be in partnership as two companies who appreciate each other.
