Everton Football Club and Davanti announce expanded multi-year commercial partnership renewal

1st March 2020

Premier League side Everton and Davanti Tyres have announced they will continue their official brand partnership.

Delegates at Davanti’s first ever International Dealer Conference were the first to find out at Goodison Park on Friday, February 28.

Conference attendees from across the world were given an insight into the impact Davanti’s Official Tyre Partner status with the club has had on the tyre manufacturers’ global growth since the arrangement formally began in 2017.

Sean Maddocks, Davanti Sales Director for UK and Ireland said that renewing the partnership was a key part of the brand strategy moving forward.

“Since we first began working alongside Everton we have seen first-hand the power of two brands with a shared vision not only for growth and success, but for achieving those aims responsibly,” he said.

“There are only 20 clubs in the Premier League and with its storied history Everton is one of the best known and most respected globally.

“Since day one it has been a true partnership. Everton actively work with us to maximise brand visibility across global markets. For Davanti, the benefit has been clear as we have seen incredible growth from 15 countries at the beginning to now our car, van, SUV and all-terrain tyres being sold in more than 60 countries.

“Working with Everton has played a significant part in that. Their brand is globally recognised and their commitment to Davanti, from hospitality to branding to reaching out into new territories with us, cannot be underestimated.

“We are proud to be Everton’s Official Tyre Partner.”

Alan McTavish, Commercial Director at Everton, said: “We have worked closely with Davanti over the past three years to help maximise their brand visibility across global markets. It has been fantastic to see Davanti’s incredible growth which highlights the benefits of partnering with Everton.

“This renewed and expanded deal is exactly the type of partnership we are keen to attract, where we are able to work with a growing organisation that fits into our own ambitious vision and growth plans.

“We look forward to the next chapter of our relationship as we jointly explore new opportunities and collaborate on engaging and innovative activations in markets across the world.”
