Davanti Tyres adds rare all-terrain sizes to Terratoura A/T range

17th June 2021

Have you struggled to find many options when looking for fresh all-terrain tyres?

Despite a huge range of tyre sizes across the all-terrain market, some are still so rare that consumers have almost no option over which tyre they choose.

A number of the most popular premium SUVs globally are fitted with sizes such as 255/50R20 or 275/45R21 as standard, but until now only a couple of manufacturers produced AT tyres in these sizes.

Meanwhile 285/50R20 – a popular conversion size for premium pickups – is only produced by a handful of manufacturers as an all-terrain pattern.

Now Davanti Tyres has stepped in, introducing its impressive Terratoura A/T tyre in a host of new high rim size fitments, including those mentioned earlier.

“We felt it was important to include these rarer sizes in our range due to the demand, which currently goes unfulfilled,” said Sean Maddocks, Davanti Tyres’ Sales Director for the UK and Ireland.

“We know that consumers often face conditions that standard road tyres aren’t suitable for. This is the case for high performance SUV’s as well as the traditional utilitarian 4×4’s. With Terratoura A/T we have created an all-terrain tyre with a reputation for excellence both on and off road. On the road where it is quiet, comfortable and responsive and off-road it performs as well as the market leaders.

“If you need all-terrain tyres for your vehicle, we want you to have the option of fitting a truly outstanding tyre. So we created it.”

The new sizes enjoy the same performance traits as the existing Terratoura range. Connected outer shoulder blocks and a stabilised central rib maintain grip on uneven ground while keeping on-road steering light and responsive. Terratoura A/T’s five rib all-terrain pattern is proven to deliver exceptional performance on and off-road and generate impressive forward traction on low-friction surfaces such as mud and ice, assisted by sawtooth shoulder blocks to tackle the most demanding conditions.

The new sizes are part of a wider Terratoura A/T range expansion, increasing the number of fitments to 29 – from 15” to 21” – and introducing raised white lettering options.
